So, I've never smelled the OG this is cloning, but I liked what some of my go-to reviewers said about this one. It's true, the opening does have this tar-like smell to it, but I don't mind it because it's turns into a great scent the next stage. It's almost gourmandy, but in a slightly dated way...in a good way. I have NOTHING that smells like this, which I like. The only issue I have with this one is the longevity seems to be pretty weak. I've sat it for weeks, but will give it more time. Maybe it can be fixed with some maceration. Just hope it strengthens before the winter is over because the scent is amazing!
