The scent opens with an invigorating burst of fresh lemon, a zesty brightness that swiftly transitions into the delightful aroma of a Lemondrop hard candy—those nostalgic treats often found in the purses of older generations, perfect for soothing dry mouths. The initial tartness is beautifully balanced by a sugary sweetness that dances on the senses.
After about 10-15 minutes, the fragrance evolves into something reminiscent of a homemade Lemon Meringue pie, akin to those divine creations from Marie Callender’s or the bakery section at Kroger. I’m not one to overly rave about fragrances, but this one truly captivates me. Although I haven’t yet tried Devotion, it’s quickly made its way to my shopping list because this scent is just so enticing!
The only downside I’ve noticed is that after the fragrance blossoms into its delicious complexity, it becomes alarmingly faint all too soon. However, for the price, I don’t mind the need to reapply. It truly smells scrumptious! Thank you TT
