This is a WONDERFUL fragrance. It smells fresh and opulent. I’ve never smelled Royal Oud by Creed, but I can hardly imagine it smells better than this. This can possibly become my “signature scent” and I own many Creed, Louis Vuitton, Tom Ford, Parfum de Marley and Xerjoff fragrances. I don’t detect any Oud in the scent, nothing “animalic” about this one. My son said it smells like a “rich person’s freshly cleaned carpet” as a way of complimenting the scent. I was surprised he associated the smell with “rich”. This scent is a “winner” and I plan on purchasing other Ministry of Oud fragrances to see if they are equally as good. Very happy with my purchase!
