I was interested in this because I heard that it was like LV Contre Moi, which I had missed my opportunity to try that one and always felt I was missing out on something good. So while I can’t say whether not this one resembles that… I can say that THIS is exquisite! It’s warm, balsamic, sweet and a little mysterious to my nose. I do detect a hint of Oud, but I don’t think it’s enough to scare off those who don’t typically go for Oud scents. And I think that’s what’s adding the sense of mystery and intrigue. I’d say this is unisex, but it does lean a little feminine. There is a hint of vanilla, and a hint of BR540 DNA (but this is not that! It’s so much more!). And a rich ambery caramel that weaves its way through the mossy and woody notes. This feels more on the night time formal side, but good luck getting me to not wear it all the time!
