I love Ethiopian Messer Wot (spicy red lentils) and Yebeg Wot (spicy lamb stew). I found recipes on the web all calling for a Berbere spice but was unable to come close to replicating these delightful dishes at home. After several unsuccessful attempts at creating my own Berbere mix and trying several other off the shelf Berbere spices, I found the Sahadi product. It is just the right combination of spices and perfectly blended. I can now enjoy my own Ethiopian feast at home!
